Horsehead APP Final

My first ever attempt at an 'RGBHOO' image taken completely with an OSC camera! RGB data shot using an LPro Max filter, then further subs shot using an Altair QuadBand filter which I used the 'Extract Ha' and 'Extract OIII' algorithms on, then put it all together using the Combine RGB tool with a few final touches in Photoshop. Not perfect I know, but I'm rather pleased with the result.

@wvreeven

Thank you! This was imaged with my Altair Hypercam 183C Pro and my Altair ED80T apo triplet. 150 x 120s lights with the LPro Max filter and 40 x 240s lights with the QuadBand filter.

Yeah I agree, that's great! Did you find the various tools in APP to do this helpful enough?

Yes, they were fabulous and worked very well. I only had to do a couple of minor touches in PS, such as reducing the star size, otherwise it was pretty much all done with APP.

Excellent! Deconvolution will eventually coming to APP as well, no ETA on that though. But we hope the need for PS will become less in the future.
