  • Hi all,

This is my result from my extreem light polluted backyard.

It is all caputers with an OSC cam (zwo 071 mc-pro) with several filters like:

Idas LPS-D1

Idas NB1

Baader HA 7nm.

All de processing done in APP (including blending HA to RGB stack) and a few tweaks in Photoshop.

Hope you enjoy.

Hoi Jan-Willem,

That is a stunning image. Well done! One tiny point of improvement would be to shoot more blue since the reflection nebula in M20 is a bit faint but that’s really negligible. Really, really nice image!!!

By the way, the open cluster is M23, not M22 😉

Hi Wouter,

Thanx for you're kind words 🙂 !

Yes I would like to improve the blue reflection nebula but I use an OSC cam so my exposures ar not long enough to collect proper data on the blue nebula. Maybe when I go to a darker side I can collect better data.

Thanx for pointing me in the typo, but the m21 is correct for the open cluster, the m22 should be m20 (trifeld nebula) so I edit this post. (Later I will edit the text on the photo 😉 ).
