Hello from Austria!

At the end of february I tried to photograph the region of orion.

Camera & Optics: Canon 6Da + Lacerta APO 72/432

Mount: Fornax Lightrack II

Filter: Optolong L-Pro

Processed with APP and Photoshop48x 120 sec. // ISO 1600 // F6

33 Darks / 30 Flats /60 Bias

Well that looks stunning! Very nice, maybe a tiny bit too saturated? I can see a bit of color noise coming through when zoomed in.

Maybe...  I  have boosted the red channel a little bit because it helped to reveal the brown nebulosity.

Let s call it a compromise 🙂

Great result Gernot @skanker 😉

I think for the amount of exposure time, that this is a very good result! You were able to let a lot of weak nebulosity show here 🙂 Color balance might be a little bit on the red side, but very good.

I definitely need more exposure time! With my dark night sky there would be even more possible.
